Princeton - Ms. Eloise H. Smith, 90, passed on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at 11:00am by INVITATION ONLY. There will be a public viewing held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 10:00am to 10:50am at First Missionary Baptist Church, 414 W. 1st Street, Princeton, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Selma Memorial Gardens, 1530 S. Pollock Street, Selma, NC. She was born on May 19, 1931 in Wayne County, NC to Brutus Hagans and Louvenia Bradley Hagans. She leaves to cherish her memories four daughters: Deborah J. Atkinson of Charlotte,NC, Carolyn Bookard of Washington,DC, Hilda (Harvey) Holt of Princeton,NC and Marie Atkinson of Selma,NC and host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Services of compassionate and distinguished class entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Goldsboro.
