The celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 1:00pm at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly, 211 West Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC. There will be a viewing held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with the family present to receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She was born on March 28, 1942 in Wayne County, NC to Lillie Herring and Sarah Phillips Herring.
