Although we lived miles away, my Mom (Babae) always kept in touch with Aunt Belle. I’m so thankful that we had an opportunity to see her in 2025. I remember the downpour of rain when leaving the restaurant after the family dinner…Aunt Belle ran to the car faster that I did! She had me fooled with that walker…I was shocked!

I have fond memories of my Mom (Julia Mae Whitfield) taking my sisters and I to spend summers in NJ with Uncle Bubba and Aunt Belle…so much laughter and love in the house. Aunt Belle cared for us like her own…her steady kindness and love continued throughout the years and will stay with me always. 💜
