Mr. Aaron Duncan IV's Obituary
Goldsboro - Mr. Aaron Duncan, IV 40, passed on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 12:00 noon at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 11:00am to 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
Aaron attended Wayne County Public Schools, Goldsboro NC and Wake County Public Schools, Raleigh NC graduating from Millbrook High School 1996. He loved the culinary arts and was a Cook at Applebee’s in Raleigh, NC and Goldsboro, NC until he became ill in 2006. Aaron loved his Grandma Edna dearly. He loved foods, art anything Afrocentric.
Aaron was born on November 26, 1977 in Columbus, GA to Marcia Gail Thompson and Aaron Duncan III on Thanksgiving Day. He was the Grandson of the late Jesse and Edna Dickerson Thompson, Great-grandson of the late Walter and Vella Wells Thompson and the late Milford and Cora Darring Dickerson. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Tottiana Duncan of the home, his mother, Rev. Marcia Gail Thompson, Pikeville NC; 3 brothers, Tuvares M. Thompson (Shaquetta), Raleigh, NC, Terrence T. Duncan, Goldsboro, NC and Bryan Duncan, Columbus Ohio, 1 niece, Isabella Dixion, Greenville, NC; 2 Nephews, Jahkinepir Thompson, Kamari Anderson, both of Raleigh NC, 4 Aunts, Evelyn Dickerson of Suitland Md., Rev. Chawanta (Ray) Langston, Baltimore Md., Sheryl Howell (James), Fremont, NC, Maresa Thompson, Cleveland Ohio; 2 Uncles, William “Cosmo” Dickerson, Birmingham Alabama; Jesse C. Thompson, Champaign, Illinois. A special cousin, Jovaughn Bass, Goldsboro NC, Special friends from Raleigh, Adrian Brumwell, Kelvin Harvey (cousin), Joe Armstrong, and many other cousins, relatives, and friends.
