Goldsboro - Evangelist Abdullah Ali Whitaker, 32, passed on Tuesday, October 13, 2015. The celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 2:00pm at Bear Creek Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC with Pastor Timothy L. Dortch officiating. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 from 3:00pm until 5:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing beginning at 6:00pm at Eastern Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1401 N. Carolina Street, Goldsboro, NC, with an inspirational wake from 7:00pm until 8:00pm.
Abdullah was born on December 22, 1982 in Wayne County, NC to Lawyer Junior Whitaker and Vivian Coley Whitaker. He is survived by his wife, TaRhonda M. Whitaker; two daughters: Reginae and Madison; his mother, Elder Vivian C. Whitaker and brother, Carlos Wooten.
