Garner - Mr. Albert B. Smith Jr., 77, passed on Thursday, July 16, 2020 at the Transition Hospice House (Hospice of Wake County's William M. Dunlap Center for Caring), Raleigh, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, July 27, 2020 at 12:30pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at the funeral home.
He was born on March 27, 1943 in Portsmouth, Virginia to Albert B. Smith Sr. and Elizabeth Manuel Smith. He is survived by one son, grandson and his siblings.
