my daddy!!!!!!!!!!!!!...

Mrs. Pearline Fitch and Family,
We are greatly saddened by the passing of your beloved husband. He was a friend indeed, a man full of grace and compassion, wisdom and curiosity. I will miss the many conversations we shared on God's goodness and grace.
I pray the peace of our Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ will rest, rule and abide with you as you are comforted not only by your friends, but by the holy Spirit.
Dr. Franklyn and Alice Johnson

I will truly miss Chief Fitch. My name is Tim Daily, oldest son of MSgt Terry Daily (ret); while the two of them were close, I knew the Chief as a dedicated teacher and wonderful man. I myself never took JROTC. That did not matter with the Chief. He was dedicated to the entirety of Eastern Wayne High School, and I will truly miss him. l thank him for his service to our country, our school and our community, all of which he, by example, took to heart to an extent it would do service to all of the above for others to emulate. I and my wife send our heartfelt condolences to the family and extended community.
My prayers and condolences to his family. Chief Fitch was a special, gentle soul who graced my life with his mentorship during my high school years. He always had a kind smile and great advice for me, as he guided us cadets during our ROTC Drill Team activities (EWHS NC804). Throughout my life I have always referred back to his mantra (that he gifted to me in my senior yearbook) - 'One step at a time, but forever forward'. Thank you, Chief, for a life well lived! - - Tim Rollins & Family
