Dudley - Mr. Alfred McGowan, 79, passed on Friday, November 27, 2020 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at 12:00 noon in the J Bernardo Rhodes Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 195 Kenansville Hwy, Warsaw, NC. He will be laid to rest at the McGowan Cemetery, Sacrecta Road, Kenansville, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, December 3, 2020 from 11:00am to 11:50am.
He was born on December 28, 1940 in Duplin County, NC to Henry Ned and Margie Miller McGowan. He is survived by a son, Travis (Tamesia) Vann and two grandchildren.
