Greensboro - Mrs. Alice M. Hicks, 76, completed her earthly journey and transitioned from labor to reward on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Moses Cone Hospital 1200 N. Elm St. Greensboro, NC. The Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:45am at KEMBA, 860 North Pine Street, Warsaw, NC. She will be laid to rest at Devotional Gardens, 1260 NC Hwy 24 & 50, Warsaw, NC.
She was born on February 6, 1947 in Faison, North Carolina to the late William Henry and Lenora Mathis. She
leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Eddie Hicks Jr.; two children: Yvonne Hicks Anderson (Douglas) of McDonough GA and Stanley Devon Hicks of Greensboro NC; two grandchildren: Cassidy and Donavan; her brother, Robert Mathis (Mary) of Faison, North Carolina; sisters: Elder Linda Williams of Mt. Olive North Carolina and Lena Mathis of Faison, North Carolina and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
