Goldsboro - Mr. Alonzo S. McClain Jr., 83, has gained his heavenly wings on Monday, October 3, 2022 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, October 10, 2022 at 10:30am at the J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC at 12:00pm on Monday, October 10, 2022.
He was born in Hendersonville, NC to Alonzo S. McClain Sr. and Evelyn Hill McClain. He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Milton McClain; his children and other loving relatives and friends.
