Goldsboro - Ms. Anna Bailey Yelverton, 97, passed on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at 2:00pm at Pentecostal Holy Church, 600 E. Pine Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Pentecostal Holy Church, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born in Greene County, NC on March 27, 1919 to James Bailey and Lucille Frye Bailey. She is survived by one son, James Donnie Mann (Sandra) of Durham, NC and her grandchildren: Elder Carl (Mary) Davis, Anna Williams, Carolyn Coley, Joyce Hamm, Donnie Mann and Kim Mann, 15 great grandchildren and 19 great great-grandchildren.
