Goldsboro - Ms. Annie O. Hicks, 86, passed on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at 1:00pm at New Stoney Hill United Holy Church, 1003 Poplar Street, Goldsboro, NC with Rev. Dr. Howard E. McNair officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 US Hwy 70 W, Princeton, NC. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 from 12:00pm to 1:00pm at the church.
She was born on August 31, 1932 in Greene County, NC to Walter Yelverton and Beatrice Artis Yelverton. She is survived by her seven children.
