Goldsboro - Ms. Annie Williams Hobbs, 87 of 606 Longleaf Ave., passed on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 11:00am at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 5:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, Inc., 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born in Sampson County, NC to Ermon C. Williams and Lucille McLean Williams. She is survived by, two daughters: Brenda Hobbs Dozier (Molden) and Janice Marie Hobbs both of Goldsboro, NC and one son, Phillip Eugene Hobbs of Upper Marlboro, Maryland; one sister, Vera Best Coley of Severn, Maryland; one brother, Ervie Williams of Goldsboro, NC; one granddaughter, Candace Hobbs of Vine Grove, KY; one grandson, Marcellus Hobbs of Vine Grove, KY; one sister-in-law, Carrie Dickens of Goldsboro, NC; one special daughter, Teresa Hooper of Atlanta, Georgia, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
