Goldsboro - Ms. Annie Doris Reid Smith, 80 of 1104 Simpson Street, passed on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Goldsboro Chapel Free Will Baptist Church, 1314 Ben Brewington Court, Goldsboro, NC with Elder James E. Collins officiating. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the church.
She was born on October 4, 1937 in Pikeville, NC to LaFayette Reid and Sallie Armwood Reid. She is survived by four children: Paula Jones of Randalltown, MD, Antonio Smith of Powder Spring, CA, Karen Smith of Charlotte, NC and Shelia Smith of San Antonio, TX; a sister-in-love, Ms. Rosa Reid of Fremont, NC; grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
