Goldsboro - Reverend Annie E. Whitley, 79, received her ultimate healing on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:45am at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 1800 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest on Monday, October 30, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born in Beaufort County, NC to Robert Barnes and Annie Laws Barnes. She is survived by her loving devoted husband, James A. Whitley; her children and other loving relatives and friends.
