Goldsboro - Elder Anthony M. Rouse "Peter Rabbit", 62, received his Heavenly reward on Thursday, March 9, 2023 at the Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 1:00pm with a viewing from 12:00m to 12:45pm at Faith United Holy Church, 1603 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 US Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC.
He was born on July 3, 1960 to Wade McMillian and the late Janet Marie Rouse in Newark, New Jersey. He leaves cherished memories to his wife, Geraldine Rouse; his father, Wade McMillian; three sisters and three brothers; three aunts: Deborah Rouse (Bishop Thurman) McCuller, Brenda Rouse Uzzell and Edith McMillion Fuller; one uncle, Carl Henry (Betty) Rouse; one granddaughter, LaTrivette (Jeffrey) Rudolph; two grandsons, Devanta Gatlin and Derek Gatlin; three great-grandchildren, Malia Rudolph, Melani Gatlin and DaSean Gatlin; his mother in-law, Mother Ollie Kelly, a host of other relatives and friends.
