Sumter, SC - Mr. Arthur Earl Mangum, 59 of 1697 Peach Orchard Road, Lot 48, passed on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at the Tuomey Regional Medical Center, Sumter, SC. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 18, 2015 at 2:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. The interment will be private at a later date. There will be a viewing held on Friday, September 18, 2015 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm in the chapel.
He was born on March 21, 1956 in Wayne County, NC to Ernest Carl Mangum and Betty Pearl Lewis Mangum. He is survived by one son, Douglas E. Mangum, and friend, Tilly Barnes of Dudley, NC, two brothers: Ernest C. Mangum of Benson, NC and Sammy L. Mangum and wife, Delores of Dudley, NC and one uncle, Walter L. Lewis of New York.
