Goldsboro - Mr. Artis Lee Palmer, 89, passed on Friday, June 9, 2017. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 11:00am in the Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, June 16, 2017 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, Goldsboro, NC and on Saturday, June 17, 2017 from 10:00am until 11:00am in the Wayne Memorial Park Mausoleum, Dudley, NC.
He was born on August 9, 1929 in Waynesboro, Georgia. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Beatrice Palmer; his two sons: Artis Palmer (Juanita) and Larry Jackson (Lisa); four grand children, six great grandchildren, his sister, Unell Hatch of Bridgeton, New Jersey and a host of family and friends.
