Arzie Mae Lewis' Obituary
Goldsboro - Ms. Arzie Mae Lewis, 70, of 408 S. Jefferson Ave., passed on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Nash General Hospital, Rocky Mount, NC. The homegoing celebration will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 2136 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC. She will be laid to rest in the Union Grove Church Cemetery. There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm with the family present from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm. She was born on January 11, 1943 in Wayne County, NC to Alberta Harris and Warren Wiley. She is survived by four sons: Kenneth Lewis, Terry Lewis (Valerie), Rico Lewis, and Mario Best (JaQuoa); two daughters: Nicole Lewis and Darnett Lewis; four sisters: Magalene Harris, Betty Lou Coley, Delois Reid and Shirley Jones; one brother: David Brown; a grandson, whom she raised, “Pete” of the home; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one aunt: Ms. Dorothy Poole. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
