Goldsboro - Mr. Bernard Ray Thompson, 72 of 1209 Greenleaf Street, passed on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, January 16, 2017 at 12:00 noon in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. There will be a viewing held on Monday, January 16, 2017 from11:00am until 12:00pm in the chapel.
He was born on December 15, 1944 in Wayne County, NC to Waddell Thompson and Annie Mae Garrett Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Maevone Imes Thompson and his mother, Annie Mae Thompson and children.
