Kinston - Ms. Bernice Elizabeth Canady Brown, 86 of 411 Pollock Street, passed on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital, Kinston, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at 1:00pm at Antioch Free Will Baptist Church, 820 Lincoln Street, Kinston, NC. She will be laid to rest at Southview Cemetery, Old Asphalt Road, Kinston, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC.
She was born in Lenoir County, NC on November 1, 1929 to Christopher Canady and Emma Hart Canady. She is survived by her children.
