I will never forget the first time I met Betty Lou and her mom. My brother, George (Monk) asked if we felt like having company for a weekend, and of course, the answer was, Yes. Bett, and her mom were a joy to be around. I will never forget her coming into my home for the first time, and before I knew it she was in the kitchen doing one of her favorite things, cooking. For a moment it felt as if I was the guest with the best hostess ever. I will certainly miss my weekly conversations with my her. I never thought that the conversation I had with her three weeks ago would be the last time I would hear her say, “I love you too, sugg. To her children, please know that you are in my prayers, and you will forever be my niece and nephews.
