The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 1:00pm at Smith's Chapel Church, 413 Old Beulaville Road, Pink Hill, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, July 10, 2015 from 6:00pm until 8:00pm in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC.
He was born in Lenoir County, NC to William Pettaway and Sadie Jones Pettaway.
