Goldsboro - Mr. Billy R. Langston, 60, passed on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 1:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 12:50pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC.
He was born on March 6, 1961 in Wayne County, NC to Samuel Langston and Clydie Smith Langston. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, April (Bae); his children: Stephanie Langston, Shavone Oates and Tamaj Oates (special son) all of Goldsboro; his mother, Clydie Langston; his brother, Samuel Langston (Dorian); five sisters: Angela Best, Wanda Coley (James), Bernadine Beckett (Alvin), Mary Williams and Annette James (Benny) and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
