Goldsboro - Retired MSgt. Bobby Howell, 77 of 1204 Porter Street, passed on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, Myrtle Beach, SC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:00am at The Lord's Table, 1215 Parkway Drive, Goldsboro, NC with Pastor Ken Jefferson. He will be entombed at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117 Hwy, Dudley, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, January 30, 2015 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm with the family arriving from 6:00pm to 7:00pm to receive friends in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He was born on March 10, 1937 in Atlanta, GA to Booker T. and Ruth Ware Howell Sr. He is survived by his wife, Peggie Roberts Howell, his children: Ida "Penny" Howell, Michael Howell, Sherry Howell, Derek "Big John" Howell, and Taurus Roberts all of Atlanta, GA, Antonio D. Howell, Tonya L. Howell and Tansey L. Howell all of Goldsboro, NC; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. The family will assemble in preparation for the funeral procession at 10:00am at the home.
