Bonita Waters Coley's Obituary
Ms. Bonita "Missy" Waters Coley, 54, Goldsboro, departed her earthly life Monday, July 30, 2012, at Laurel Regional Hospital in Laurel, Maryland. Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, August 11, 2012, at noon at Philadelphia Community Church, 357 Hare Road, Goldsboro, with Dr. Reverend Gregory Jones (Place of Refuge), officiating. Interment will follow at Old Mill Cemetery. Bonita was educated in the Wayne County Public Schools, and finished her education and graduated along with her son in 1990 from Wayne Community College. She was employed more than 16 years at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Commissary until her health began to decline. "Missy" was preceded in her death by her father, George "Tony" Reid; late husband, Ollin "O.C." Coley; her grandmother, Dorothy "Dot" Waters; and grandfather, Armus "Spunk" Waters. Bonita "Missy" leaves to cherish her precious memories her mother, Bonnie W. McKoy; three children, son, Claude "Dude" Waters, and daughters, Katrice Y. "Tricey" Waters and Marquita D "Keeda" Waters; six grandsons, DeVante L. Da Shaunti L. Da Juan L., Tyquan S. and Jamillyon D. Waters and Jabacchus Russell; a granddaughter, Iswauna "Quana" Waters; great-grandson, Corinthian Waters; great-granddaughter, Arianna Chavis; siblings, Bernice Reid, sister, and Wilbert Reid, brother; nephews, Eric "Coach Reid" Reid and Cory Reid; niece, April Reid all of Goldsboro; a great-great-uncle, Eddie Lese Moses of Washington, D.C.; a very special aunt, Clarissa Crawford; a special uncle, Clarence Sutton of Temple Heights, Md.; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Please arrive for the processional from 604 S. Pineview Ave. an hour before the funeral. J.B.
