Shelby - Mr. Burnice Aldine Miller Jr., 68, formerly of Duplin County, NC passed on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at the Carolinas Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 2:00pm at Ever Ready Full Gospel Tabernacle, 350 Hwy 117 N., Warsaw, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Devotional Gardens, 2925 NC 24-50 Hwy, Warsaw, NC. There will be a wake in the J. Bernardo Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 195 Kenansville Hwy, Warsaw, NC on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 5pm to 7pm.
Mr. Burnice A. Miller Jr. affectionately known as “Billy” was born on August 20, 1949, to the late Burnice Aldine Miller Sr. and the late Pernell Frederick Miller in Warsaw, NC.
Burnice leaves to cherish his memories two sons: Burnice A. Miller, III (Alicia) of Shelby, NC and Lawrence A. Miller (Vernesha) of Memphis, TN; three grandchildren: Julian, Kambre and Avianna; three sisters: Burnell Ashford (John) of Warsaw, NC, Rebecca Miller of Ft. Washington, MD and Ingrid Linda Williams (Marcellous) of South Orange, NJ; six brothers: Anthony C.(Julia) of Bronx, NY, Nat C. (Wanda) of Raeford, NC, Mark S. (Jackie) of Fayetteville, NC, Alfonso (Juliet) of Warsaw, NC and Alfred of Burgaw, NC.
Services of compassionate and distinguished class entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations of Warsaw.
Family and friends will be received at the home of Burnice’s sister, Mrs. Burnell Ashford, 140 Kings Court Drive, Warsaw, NC.
