Goldsboro - Mr. C. Nathaniel "Nate" James, 83 of 1302 Hamilton Drive, passed on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his family. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, August 17, 2015 at 12:00 noon at New St. John AME Church, 1307 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC with Pastor James N. Sheares officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Elmwood Cemetery, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a public viewing from 4:00pm until 8:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
He was born on September 14, 1931 in Cumberland County, NC to Manuel James and Selma Dunn James. He is survived by his sister, Alice J. (Floyd) Daniels & a nephew, Emmanuel "Bootsie" (Josie) James.
