Smithfield - Mr. Carl London Capps, 77 died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. A private funeral will be held with immediate family. He was born July 6, 1935 in Johnston County to Needham and Victoria Batten Caps. He is survived by a son, Eddy Capps. He worked as a mechanic, until his declining health wouldn't allow him to any longer. Mr. Capps also served his country in the Army. Final care, sympathetic and dignified service entrusted to J.B.
