Goldsboro - Mr. Carl M. Early, 72, has completed his final mission and reported for his new assignment with his Heavenly father on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at home. The celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at11:00am with a viewing from 10:00am to 10:45am at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations,1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a chapel viewing held on Wednesday, August 31, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC at 2:00pm. The service will be live streamed on the J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations Facebook Page.

He was born on March 18, 1950 in Galax, Virginia to Matthew D. Early and Minierva I. Carter. He was married to Kim Shaw Early. He is survived by his children: Demetrius Early of Lawrence, Kansas, Darrick Andre Early of Camp Springs, Maryland, Carla Early (Jerome) Frederick of Woodbridge, Virginia and Carmille Early (Kealy) Wright of Avondale Estates, Georgia; one grandson, Carson Wright and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
