Carolyn is a special presence in the hearts of her Dillard classmates. She will be remembered. Thanks, Buff, for your love and dedication to the class of '65. Nettie

"Buff" as I lovingly knew her and I were the best of friends in junior high and high school. We always shared lots of fun and laughter. She was with me the day I went into labor when my son was born. As serious as it was, we were both laughing. We spoke by phone over the years after I moved away. She always filled me in on the news in Goldsboro. I spent time and of course laughter with her during our last two reunions. I will always carry her in my heart. She is now resting in God's arms.
"Buff, your work is done here. Keep laughing in heaven."

When I first met Ms. Buffalo she opened up her arms and heart to me and welcomed me as family. On the day I buried my mother, she prayed for me as I mourned for my mother. She gave me the strength to make it through that day and many more. She reminded me, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord". Her faith and strength was unwavering. Ms. Buffalo is with the Lord. Rest in peace until we meet again. Minnie
