Goldsboro - Ms. Carrie Estelle Rowe, 88 of 1600 Harris Street, passed on Friday morning, August 28, 2015 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 10:30am at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy's Road, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest in Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117, Dudley, NC. There will be a visitation held on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends 6:00pm to 7:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
She was born in Wayne County, NC on February 27, 1927 to Charlie Boddie and Willie Ann Atkinson Boddie. She is survived by two children: Doris B. Davis and Thomas Rowe Jr. both of Goldsboro, NC; two sisters: Geraldine Matthews and Adell Harvey, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
