Ms. Catherine Arnold Ellis' Obituary
Goldsboro - Ms. Catherine Ellis, 85, passed on Monday, January 25, 2021 at home. The celebration of her life will be held on Monday, February 1, 2021 at 12:00pm at the mausoleum at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117 Hwy, Dudley, NC. She will be entombed following the service.
She was born on November 20, 1935 in Greenville, SC to George Ellis and Helen Arnold. She is survived by her son, Steven Ellis; Grandsons: Steven Ellis Jr. of North Carolina, Shawn Minor and Michael Minor of Virginia; Granddaughters: Renee and husband Jeral Dean of Virginia and Callie Taylor Chandler of Maryland; Sisters: Linda Funn and husband Brady Funn, Michele Williams, Dolores Allen all of New York and Mary Arnold of South Carolina; Brother, Johnnie Ellis of New York. Great Grandchildren: Terique Minor, Teondre Minor, Tevion Minor, Cameron Dean and Victoria Dean of Virginia. She left behind a host of wonderful nieces and nephews.
Catherine is preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Ellis; parents: Helen and George Ellis; son, John Ellis Jr. and two daughters: Johnette Ellis and Carol E. Minor; sister, Martha Ann Johnson and brother, James Arnold.
