Goldsboro - Elder Catherine B. Johnson, 72, humble servant of our Lord, kept the faith and has now received her reward on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the Willow Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Goldsboro, NC. The homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 2:00pm at St. John Kingdom Ministries, 1432 Fort Run Road, Snow Hill, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens, 4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on April 29, 1950 in Greene County, NC to Dock Hill Bryant and Rosa Minnie Speight Bryant. She is survived by two grandchildren: Keith Darrell Jones and Mariah Keosha Jones; three sisters: Minister Elaine Dawson, Deborah Howard and Janice (Levon) Gatling; three brothers: Hugh Bryant, Joseph (Margaret) Bryant and Wilbur Bryant and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
