Goldsboro - Ms. Catherine H. Pitts, 85, passed on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 2:00pm at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a chapel viewing held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on July 10, 1936 in Duplin County, NC to William H. and Rilla Nobles Houston. She is survived by her children: her children: Celestine Washington (Charlie}, Debbie Holloway, Sharon Johnson (Michael), Tony Outlaw (Nora), Lorenzo Outlaw (Beverly), Alvin Pitts Jr. (Tiffany) and Lacarous Outlaw (Sondra); her brother, Clarence Houston (Kathy) and many sister-in-laws, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
