Dr. Celestine Iheukwumere Amaefule's Obituary
Goldsboro - Dr. Celestine I. Amaefule, 73, completed his earthly assignment on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. The Funeral Mass will be held Friday July 21, 2023 at 4:00pm with a visitation from 3:00pm to 3:50pm at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 1000 N. Jefferson Ave., Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at a later date in Nigeria.
Dr. Celestine Iheukwumere Amaefule was born on March 12, 1950, to Lambert Igbokwe Amaefule and Justina A. Okoroafor in Orwu Etche, Rivers State, Nigeria. He is survived by his loving wife,Stella Amaefule; three sons: Uchechukwu, Chimezirim and Osisioma,and daughter, Ngozi. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
