Goldsboro - Mr. Charles R. Pridgen, 66, passed on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at home. The celebration of his life will be held graveside on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 12:00 noon at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117 Hwy South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on April 28, 1954 in Wayne County, NC to AJ Pridgen and Mattie Carmon Pridgen. He grew up in the Jason community in Greene County. He leaves to cherish his precious memories to his sisters, Mattie P Suggs, Carrie P Worrell, Susan P Jackson (Dellson), Donna Pridgen (Leon), Alma P Davis (Daniel), Sheryl Pridgen all of Goldsboro, NC and Dottie Pridgen of Pikeville, NC. His brothers Richard Pridgen (Paulette) of Farmville, NC and Ivory Pridgen ( Annie) of Goldsboro,NC. One aunt Lucille P Whitley of Goldsboro NC, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
