Kinston - Mr. Charlie Sutton, 77, passed peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at UNC Lenoir Healthcare, Kinston, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 at 11:30am with a viewing from 10:30am to 11:15am in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeal Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on August 29, 1945 in Greene County, NC to Elester Sutton Jr. and Bettie Jones Sutton. He is survived by his children and other loving relatives and friends.
