Col. Chester Arthur Beverly Jr.'s Obituary
Dudley - Retired Air Force Full Bird Colonel Chester A. Beverly Jr., 90, passed on Wednesday, November 17, 2021. The celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:45am at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 901 Harris Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC at 2:00pm.
He was born on December 30, 1930 in Waelder, Texas to Chester and Lucille Smith Beverly Sr. He is survived by his devoted wife, Lt. Colonel Minnie M. Beverly, USAF Retired of Dudley, North Carolina; daughter, Gayle Smith, MD (Gregory); son, Chester A. Beverly, III (Rosharon); goddaughter, Angela Faye Smith; grandchildren: Marin Heiskell, James Heiskell, (Claudia), Gregory Donnell Smith, Marcus Smith (Katina), Kodi Gonzalez, Chet Marcellis Beverly, Jasmine Mariah Beverly, Chase Michael Beverly and Ariel Renee Beverly; great-grandchildren: Joe Parra (Stephanie), Donnquell Smith, Tariq Smith, Keshawn Smith, Tagere Beverly and Austin Beverly; great-great daughter, Aubrey Jo Parra; sister, Barbara Kincaide, brother, LaRue Beverly (JoAnn) and sister, Roncievald Rylander and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
