Goldsboro - Mr. Chester Lee Canady, 91, passed on March 3, 2014 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. The celebration of his life will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11:00 am at the New Greenleaf Church of Christ, 301 W. Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC with Elder Dr. Dorothy Heath. He will be laid to rest in the Old Mill Cemetery, Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Monday, March 10, 2014 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at the church. He was born on December 10, 1922 in Pantego (Beaufort County), NC to Golden and Lina Reddick Canady. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. The family is receiving friends at 215 Shaw Court, Goldsboro, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession.
