Goldsboro - Ms. Christina "Byrd" Oates, 36 of 1101 Day Circle, passed on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at the Kenansville Health & Rehab Center, Kenansville, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Church of Deliverance, 1101 SE Center Street, Mt. Olive, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wynn Memorial Gardens, E. James Street, Mt. Olive, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 11:00am until 1:00pm at the church.
She was born on October 13, 1980 in Wayne County, NC to Billy Ray and Lena Mae McDaniels Oates. She is survived by her father.
