Augusta, GA - Mr. Clifford "Pete" Barnes, 60, formerly of Goldsboro, NC passed on Sunday, September 4, 2016 in Augusta, GA. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 1:00pm at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy's Road, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Barnes Cemetery, Tommy's Road, Goldsboro, NC with military honors. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 12:00pm until 12:50pm at the church.
He was born on May 23, 1956 in Wayne County, NC to Earl Barnes and Glendora Atkinson Barnes. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Pridgen Barnes.
