Dudley - Mr. Clifton Earl "Cliff" Humphrey, 76 of 101 Deerfield Lane, passed on Saturday night, January 31, 2015 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC surrounded by his loving family and friends. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 12 noon at St. Joseph FWB Church, 280 Claridge Nursey Road, Goldsboro, NC with Elder Leslie C. Capers officiating. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US 117 Hwy, Dudley, NC. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11:00am until the time of service. He was born on March 25, 1938 in Wayne County to the late Dan and Leora Bell Humphrey. He is survived by his wife, Angeline, of the home; daughter, Anita A. Daniels of Durham, NC; son, Tony E. Humphrey, Sr. (Patricia).; two step-children, Tony L. Hardy (Sharonda) of Waldorf, MD, and Angela D. Kornegay, of Goldsboro, NC; three sisters, Bertie Mae Howard of Goldsboro, NC; Edna Bryant and Flora Stark of Buffalo, NY; one brother, Eugene Humphrey (Edna) of Charlotte, NC; a brother-in-law, Norman Hardy of Goldsboro, NC.; seven grandchildren, three great-grand children, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Dana A. Humphrey, Sr., and Derrick E. Humphrey, both of Goldsboro, NC, and 11 siblings. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. The family is receiving friends at the home, 101 Deerfield Lane, Dudley, NC.
