Goldsboro - Ms. Cora Lee Alston, 87, received her ultimate healing and transitioned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:45am at Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church, Inc., 1114 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC.
She was born on August 23, 1936 in Wayne County, NC to Hattie Saunders Alston and Joe Alston. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
