Goldsboro - Mr. Corey Arnandus Artis, 43, passed on Thursday morning, January 5, 2017 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at 12:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Resthaven at Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Casey Mills Road, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 11:00am until 12:00pm at the funeral home.
He was born on June 7, 1973 in Wayne County, NC to Curtis Eugene Artis Sr. and Carolyn Mozingo Artis. He is survived by his mother, one sister and four brothers.
