Goldsboro - Mr. Cullen Scott Joyner, 83 of 1302 S. John Street, passed on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at home. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11:00am at Woods Chapel FWB Church, 928 New Hope Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be viewing held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Woods Chapel FWB Church, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC on Monday, April 16,2018 at 12:00 noon with full military honors.
He was born in Greene County, NC to Ira D. and Dolly Mae Edwards Joyner. He is survived by his wife, Marion Verdell Sutton Joyner and one son, Sterling (Deidra) Joyner.
