Goldsboro - Mr. Curtiss J. McKinney Jr., 28 of 410 Bridle Path Road, passed on Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Duke University Hospital, Durham, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, October 31, 2019 at 12:00 noon at Greenleaf Christian Church DOC, 2110 N. William Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, 164 Longs Plant Farm Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on December 13, 1990 in Long Beach, California to Curtis J. McKinney and Felicia McClain. He is survived by his wife, Jamie Grant McKinney; his son, Curtiss J. McKinney, III; his parents: Felicia McClain, Curtiss and (Doris Ward-McKinney) McKinney; siblings: Brandon McKinney and Laquisha McKinney; two stepsister: Monique Ward and Marinique Ward.
