His life will be celebrated on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Heart to Heart Prayer House, 111 S. Cashwell, LaGrange, NC. He will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. Da'Shawn was born on February 7, 2001 in Washington, D.C. to Tamika Hill and Charles L. Evans. He is survived by his parents and many other loving relatives and friends. Professional, sympathetic, dignified and compassionate care has been entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. The family is receiving friends at 203 Longview Drive, Goldsboro, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession. The family will be having a candle light and balloon release ceremony at 109 Rockefeller Court, Goldsboro, NC from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm in honor of Da'Shawn.
