Kinston - Ms. Daphine Hart Brown, 69 of 1405 Stroud Ave., passed on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Lenoir UNC Health Care, Kinston, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 3:00pm at the First Missionary Baptist Church, 801 E. Gordon Stree, 655 Sussex Street,Kinston, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Southview Cemetery, Old Asphalt Road, Kinston, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC.
She was born on May 23, 1948 in Lenoir County, NC to Bryant Lee and Nora Mae Smith Hart. She is survived by her mother and son.
