I am so at a loss for words. I just found out about this loss and I just can't believe this has happened. I know this young man from when he lived with his grandmother while they lived in Raleigh a few years ago. He and his brother played with my children plenty of days that summer. My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Especially, his Dad, brother, Grandmother & Uncle that we know all too well. The world definitely lost an angel & he will truly be missed.
So saddened to hear about Dashawn passing. Dashawn was never in my class but I knew him and Darrien quite well from 3rd to 7th grade. Dashawn's spunkiness, contagious smile, and protectiveness for his older brother was a honor to witness. No matter what grade he was in Dashawn was popular among his classmates. Although death is never easy my prayers and condolences extends out to the family and friends. May you all be covered with peace, Ms. C. Brown
I found out this morning about Dashawn and wanted you all to know I am praying for peace and comfort. I taught Dashawn and his brother Darrien both when they were in the 4th grade and have thought of them often. Dashawn's spunkiness and love for life was evident daily especially when we sang silly songs. He made me smile daily and am thankful I was able to know him. God bless you all!
